Top 10 most memorable RAW moments in 2013
With just two installments of Raw left, WWE is all set to begin the road to Wrestlemania with the Royal Rumble in January. But before that let’s look at the most memorable moments to come out of Raw in 2013.
10. Ziggler finally cashes in and wins.
Undoubtedly, the biggest moment of Ziggler’s career and the crowd just went berserk. It’s just sad that he’s nowhere near that momentum now even though the crowd still loves him.
9. The Shield and The Wyatts collide
Two behemoth tag teams came on the verge of a major face off in the main event of Raw. The London fans seemed to be enjoying every bit of it. This collision had been on many fans wishlist. And finally, the creative team gave all those fans a good sneak peak.
8. CM Punk challenges fan
CM Punk did this a lot during his days in the Independent circuit. But it was a treat to see him pull this off on Raw. CM Punk had been betrayed by Paul Heyman. He was on the verge of becoming a babyface but was not there quite yet. Seeing him take on a fan is not a babyface move. But then again, it’s CM Punk.
7. Heel Stephanie
My vote for the heel of the year goes to Stephanie. Yes, better than CM Punk, Paul Heyman and others. She turned heel on the Raw after Summerslam and so did the rest of her family. Her performances till now have been a solid A+.
6. The Cesaro Swing
We saw this on Raw and now it seems to be a must for Cesaro to do it every time he’s in the ring. This might be the very reason the company decides to turn him face.
5. JBL on commentary
He’s so great that now it seems Raw qill be incomplete without his witty heel remarks.
4. CM Punk Vs John Cena
This rivalry is irreplaceable. This happened on the main event of Raw and John Cena won. On free television!
3. The ending to the championship ascension ceremony
This was a trick pulled straight out of the pre-PG Era books and it worked. One of the best endings where future feuds were teased.
2. Triple H buried by Daniel Bryan‘s hometown
Daniel Bryan has had a momentous year and he dominated the WWE scene even if the company went with its protocol stars for the main events. His Yes Chants have now become a significant part of WWE history. His hometown just gave Triple H a taste of his own rumored medicine.
1. The crowd after WM 29
This crowd should go into the Hall of Fame. There are many crowds in many awesome arenas. But nothing compares to the crowds after any Wrestlemania. Just unbelievable! The 3 hour Raw should have never ended!
