Top 3 world heavyweight championship matches in WWE WrestleMania history
The Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania, is just a few months away. The anticipation for the extravaganza is sky high. With two high profile matches already set for the big stage, the expectations couldn't be any higher.
The World Heavyweight Title was one of the most prestigious championships of World Wrestling Entertainment. The title was held by legends like The Undertaker, Triple H, Batista, John Cena, and Shawn Michaels.
WrestleMania has seen countless classics over the past three decades, and plenty of those matches were fought for the World Heavyweight Title.
With another WrestleMania around the corner, I have decided to take a look at various classic matches. Some of them have already been posted, so be sure to check them out.

#3 The Undertaker vs Batista, WrestleMania 23
Arguably one of the best matches in WrestleMania history took place in its 23rd edition as Batista went up against the Undertaker. Batista had recently returned from an injury and had not wrestled with the same stamina since he had been back in the ring, not until he stepped in the ring during this match against The Undertaker.
In a match that should have played as the main event, Batista and the Undertaker went from the mat, through the ropes, and through a table.
Back in the ring, Batista hit the Batista Bomb, but couldn't hold The Undertaker for the pin-fall. Fans were treated to a repeat performance of The Undertaker's big move from WrestleMania 22, a suicide dive over the top rope. This time he landed on Batista instead of Mark Henry.
Batista put up a fight, but in a match in which many fans felt short-changed due to its length and billing as the fourth match, it wasn't much of a surprise that The Undertaker walked away with another victory.
