Top 5 Groups and Superstars who haven't won a match at WrestleMania yet
WrestleMania season is in full swing. We are exactly 2 weeks away from the Biggest Show of the year. WrestleMania 35's match card is stacking up with each passing day. Although several top stars such as Kevin Owens, Dean Ambrose etc. do not have a match scheduled as of this moment, they are expected to be a part of the event in some shape or form.
The whole year in WWE revolves around WrestleMania. Events that transpire on the Show of Shows affect the entire wrestling year. Thus, it is essential for a Superstar to have an impressive outing at Wrestle<ania in order to receive a push following the event.
When it comes to impressive outings, Superstars like The Undertaker and John Cena have been a crucial part of the event with impressive win/loss records. The Deadman has had his hand raised high 24 out of the 26 Manias he has been a part of. The leader of Cenation, on the other hand, has a 10-4-0 record.
Surprisingly, there are some Superstars who have been featured in a prominent position ever since their arrival in WWE. However, the haven't had the privilege of scoring a victory at the Showcase of Immortals yet. So, without further ado, here are 4 such Superstars and 1 Team.
#5 Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn has been treated as an Underdog ever since his NXT debut in 2013. The best thing about following an underdog's career is to witness the moment when they finally overcome all the odds.
Sami Zayn's NXT arc was beautifully crafted in this regard. When he finally defeated Neville to win the NXT Championship, it felt like a huge moment. However, his momentum was halted right away with the arrival of Kevin Owens.
On the main roster, Zayn's story started on a similar note but he was soon derailed and became a glorified enhancement talent. Until now, Zayn has been a part of 3 Wrestlemania events (32, 33 and 34) and hasn't been able to score a victory yet. He was part of the Intercontinental Championship ladder match in 2016, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in 2017, and a tag team match in 2018.
An interesting fact: The Underdog from Underground hasn't even won a match at an NXT Takeover event which took place during the Mania weekend. He lost to the debuting Shinsuke Nakamura at Takeover: Dallas.
