Top 5 Tag Teams for the Womens Division

A Women's’Tag Team Division is entirely possible in this generation

They did not get the tag team part right with the ‘Divas Revolution’ but Wrestlemania triggered some change in the main roster’s general approach towards its female performers. For the first time ever female performers were addressed as superstars just like the same moniker male performers have always been accustomed to.

So, it’s not farfetched to think that much of the concepts and variety of storylines surrounding the men, the women can be surrounded by them to. We can start that by having a tag team division as well. Again, they did not get it right with the ‘Divas Revolution’ but there’s always an opportunity lying somewhere when things are well thought out and executed properly.

Here are 5 tag teams for the Women’s division

#1 Emma and Dana Brooke

Emma and Dana Brooke have been great in NXT

We start with a team that has already been established. These characters and their gimmicks complimented each other so well that you would want to see Emma have all those squash matches just so Brooke can be at ringside trash talking and being her biggest cheerleader.

Their expressions, backstage promos and those little tropes they use like Brooke head tapping the interviewer, their interactions with Asuka were all instrumental in not only making Asuka’s first program in NXT worthwhile but all making these two an entertaining unit.

Keeping in mind their history at NXT, bringing that across to the main roster is not a bad idea.
