Top 5 WWE Superstars from Quebec
When it comes to great wrestling nations, they don't come much better than Canada. Over the years we've seen many top names from the Great White North ply their trade all over the world - and most notably in WWE. However, we're choosing to focus on a more specific location within the country as opposed to the whole place in its entirety: and that location is Quebec.
Quebec is the second-most populous province in Canada, boasting a population of well over 8 million people. Within that figure, we as wrestling fans have been blessed with a series of fantastic professional wrestlers, with the best of the best in the WWE product featuring on this list. Some you'll agree with and some you likely won't, and such is the beauty of this business we all know and love.
A few of these names are more recent than others, but either way that doesn't mean that one era is necessarily greater than the other. Canadians have always been working to improve this world of pro wrestling that we love so much for many decades now, and when you look at the current landscape of the industry, it's fair to say that they've succeeded.
So with all that being said, here are the top five WWE Superstars from Quebec.
#5 Jacques Rougeau - Saint-Sulpice
Good old Jacques Rougeau was a big part of the World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s and 1990s, winning a string of titles in the company. With tag reigns alongside Raymond Rougeau and Pierre Ouellet to his name, Jacques also captured the Intercontinental Championship during his stint as The Mountie.
It was a pretty decorated career for a guy who probably wasn't tipped to do all that much within the company, and he's more than earned his place on this list. Jacques was severely underrated both in terms of his character and his in-ring abilities, and we'd love to see him enter the WWE Hall of Fame one day.
Olé!
