Top name brutally assaulted, beloved star turning heel? - 4 WWE stars not announced for Crown Jewel who can appear
WWE's next premium live event is almost here. Crown Jewel 2024 is set to air live from the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this Saturday. This is the second to last main roster PLE of 2024.
A whopping seven matches have been announced for this big show, which is two more than the common card size for a standard Premium Live Event in the Triple H era. It also features some of the biggest stars in the company.
The likes of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Gunther, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and LA Knight represent the men's side of things. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan, Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and IYO SKY are some of the female superstars set to compete on the show.
Despite many names announced for the show, some stars not yet promoted to appear could end up making their impact felt at Crown Jewel. This article will look at four performers who haven't been advertised for Crown Jewel, yet may still appear at the big-time premium live event.
Below are four WWE stars not announced for Crown Jewel but can still appear.
#4. Sami Zayn could be involved in a few ways
Sami Zayn is one of the most beloved superstars in WWE, but some believe he won't be for very long. After an awkward moment with Jey Uso, where the two appeared to be at odds, The Underdog From The Underground was caught speaking to Solo Sikoa in the parking lot.
Come Crown Jewel, there is a chance that he shockingly turns heel and helps Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline defeat Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns. Of course, the opposite could be true too, and he could side with Jey despite his many past issues with Jimmy and especially Roman.
Alternatively, Sami could get involved in a different story entirely. Kevin Owens feels betrayed by Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. The Prizefighter and The Viper will battle it out at WWE Crown Jewel. Could Sami stick by his long-time friend and turn heel, costing Orton the win? Only time will tell.
#3. Paul Heyman could return at WWE Crown Jewel
Paul Heyman is a legend in pro wrestling. He has mastered the art of management and is a former booker, promoter, photographer, and commentator. His years of success have led Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Unfortunately, Heyman has been away from WWE television for months now. A few months ago, during an episode of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa put him through a table. He hasn't been seen since.
That could change come Crown Jewel, however. While Paul can't fight his way out of a paper bag, he could show up ringside and help Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso in strategy. Heyman could also provide a distraction, which could benefit The O.G. Bloodline.
#2. Ludwig Kaiser could aid Gunther
Ludwig Kaiser is one of the most underrated performers in WWE today. The German superstar is a multi-time NXT Tag Team Champion alongside his former partner Giovanni Vinci and aims to eventually become Intercontinental Champion.
Kaiser is best known for being part of Imperium and being aligned with Gunther. The Ring General and Ludwig go back a long time, and there is loyalty between them. In fact, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion values Kaiser's input over just about anyone else, despite his mistreatment of the performer.
Come Crown Jewel, Gunther is battling Cody Rhodes to determine the first-ever Crown Jewel Champion. Ludwig could appear at the PLE by helping the powerful Austrian defeat The American Nightmare. This would add yet another accolade to the impressive list of feats in Gunther's career thus far.
#1. Rhea Ripley might be out for revenge
Rhea Ripley has had quite the run in WWE. She has been a women's champion on RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and even NXT UK. Rhea has headlined massive PLEs and is routinely one of the most popular stars in pro wrestling.
Unfortunately, Rhea was the victim of a brutal assault during WWE NXT this week. The Eradicator was seen bloody in the parking lot just moments after Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan were seen walking away laughing and wielding baseball bats. It is clear that Ripley's opposition got to her.
Liv will take on Nia Jax at Crown Jewel to determine the Women's Crown Jewel Champion. Depending on how badly Rhea is actually hurt, she could appear on the show and attack Morgan, even costing her the title. While Ripley hates Nia Jax, her feud with Morgan is much more serious, and costing her the win would be sweet revenge.
