Top name likely becoming world champion, Uncle Howdy & The Wyatt Sicks – 4 WWE stars Bron Breakker needs to avoid in 2024
WWE has a wealth of up-and-coming stars looking to take over RAW and SmackDown. The likes of Tiffany Stratton, Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, Blair Davenport, and Kiana James are all looking to break out and become top stars.
Of all of the up-and-coming names, Bron Breakker may be the one who will achieve the most success. The son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner, Bron is a former two-time NXT Champion and even held the NXT Tag Team Titles as one-half of The Wolfdogs.
Now on the main roster, Bron is regularly causing chaos and picking up huge wins. He devastates talented performers with his Spear, but he's also prone to use whatever is at his disposal. He even slammed Ricochet onto a car.
While Bron is on a rampage, Triple H and World Wrestling Entertainment need to avoid having him destroy everybody. There are a handful of performers who Bron should avoid decimating this year, both because the talent may need to gain momentum and to save a match for the future. Who should Bron be booked to avoid?
Below are four WWE stars Bron Breakker needs to avoid in 2024.
#4. Gunther should be set for a world title push in WWE
Gunther is one of the most dominant performers in modern WWE history. He won the United Kingdom Championship almost immediately after signing with the company and became the longest-reigning champion the title ever had. He then replicated that feat with the Intercontinental Title.
The Ring General just picked up what is arguably the biggest win of his professional career. At the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event, he defeated Randy Orton to win the crown and now has a world title opportunity at SummerSlam.
Given that Gunther is challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship and will likely win the belt, he and Bron should avoid each other for the time being. The Ring General losing to Breakker at any point in the next few months just doesn't make any sense.
#3. Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks can't lose
The Wyatt Sicks faction is here. The WWE stable debuted on Monday Night RAW just a few weeks ago in shocking fashion after what felt like months of teasing. Their debut was impactful and left fans in awe.
The faction features five stars, at least as of now. The Wyatt Sicks include Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Uncle Howdy. Howdy, also known as Bo Dallas, leads this new stable.
It is essential that Uncle Howdy is booked as a strong force moving forward. In fact, arguably the entire faction should be positioned as being nearly unstoppable. Bron and The Wyatt Sicks clashing any time soon won't do good for either end side. Howdy and Breakker must stay away from each other for the foreseeable future.
#2. Chad Gable needs to start picking up wins in WWE
Chad Gable is one of WWE's most incredible in-ring competitors. He can do it all when he steps into the squared circle. Chad can do high-flying, technical wrestling, and power people around like nobody a man of his size should be capable of.
Master Gable is coming off a string of unfortunate losses. He failed to dethrone Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship last year and has also failed to defeat Sami Zayn multiple times. If that isn't bad enough, he was brutalized by The Wyatt Sicks.
Unlike the others on this list, Gable can't afford a loss because he has been losing far too much as of late. Another loss to Bron will only hurt Chad's momentum and isn't worth booking. The two could clash next year if Gable is booked more strongly in the coming months, however.
#1. Seth Rollins vs Bron Breakker should headline a major show in 2025
Seth Rollins is one of the greatest WWE superstars of the past decade. He is a multi-time world champion who has also co-headlined WrestleMania. Rollins has an incredible relationship with fans and his theme song is regularly sung by the crowd.
The Visionary shocked the world during an episode of WWE Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago. After being absent since WrestleMania, he made an unadvertised surprise return and will now be in a World Heavyweight Championship match at Money in the Bank.
Rollins and Breakker aren't strangers to one another, as they once clashed in NXT. A high-profile rematch is inevitable, but it should be saved for 2025 when Bron is hopefully positioned as a main eventer. The two clashing could sell tickets if it goes down when Breakker is ready.
