Total Bellas: 4 Things We Learned From The Season 4 Premiere
Wrestling's favourite twin sisters are back with the fourth season of their hit E! reality series Total Bellas. Both Nikki and Brie return to navigate life after full-time wrestling and for Nikki, life as a single woman after her public breakup with fellow WWE Superstar John Cena. Brie Bella, however, has her own problems and being single definitely isn't one of them. Instead, she struggles to find a balance between being a mother, wife and a WWE Superstar.
This season promises plenty of drama and will join Nikki, as she once again explores the dating game. Brie Bella must decide whether to start trying for baby number two (husband Daniel Bryan desperately wants to) or devote herself entirely to a wrestling comeback. All of these themes are sure to add a bevvy of drama to the show's eagerly anticipated fourth season.
Season 4's premiere episode got the show off to a dramatic start, as the twins dealt with Nikki's breakup with Cena, the Danielson's mulling a second child, an unexpected move, and a wrestling comeback. We examine all that & more in our exclusive look at the Total Bellas Season 4 premiere.
#4. Nikki Bella Is Taking Her Breakup Exceptionally Hard
Nikki Bella isn't taking her breakup very well. On the Season 4 Total Bellas premiere, she reluctantly compared her breakup to a 'death or divorce', "You're pretty much saying goodbye to something forever."
Nikki fought back tears, as she described the end of her relationship to John Cena:
"He was my rock. He was the one who always lifted me up and it has kicked my ass and kicked me right in the face realizing that I just let go of my number one supporter."
An emotional Nikki Bella described her situation as a difficult process of recovery, "I'm single, 34, with no kids and I'm trying to start over." None the less, it is evident that 'starting over' is exactly what Nikki Bella intends to do and this is made clear in the season's premiere episode, as the new Nikki Bella is motivated to embrace herself as an individual, move on from John Cena, and put herself first.
