How Total Divas fared against TLC, Daniel Bryan match change and SmackDown taping news

- Daniel Bryan is scheduled to face Bray Wyatt in a steel cage for one leg of the WWE Holiday tour, starting next Thursday, December 26 in Chicago. He was originally slated to face The Wyatt Family in a handicap match. CM Punk is scheduled to face The Shield in a handicap match on those shows.

- Last Sunday’s season finale of Total Divas held up pretty well going head-to-head with the WWE TLC pay-per-view. The show averaged 1.295 million viewers, which was up 8% from last week. As a comparison, the episode that opposed The Survivor Series (and a big Sunday Night Football game) last month drew a series-low 920,000 viewers.

- As noted earlier, this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown will be taped on Wednesday, while the Christmas week episode will be taped on Thursday. The New Year’s week episode of WWE SmackDown will be taped on Sunday, December 29th at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.
