Tribal dynamics or shocking the world? 4 reasons why Roman Reigns should acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief

Solo Sikoa shocked the world when he took over The Bloodline from Roman Reigns immediately after WrestleMania 40. Sikoa blamed Reigns for losing the group's title to Cody Rhodes.

In that time, The Tribal Heir has remade The Bloodline to suit his image, kicking out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and adding Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. The new-look group brutalized The Wiseman in one of the more shocking acts in WWE history. Heyman hasn't appeared on WWE television since the attack in late June.

Sikoa has challenged Roman Reigns to come back and take the crown from him. With a huge match at SummerSlam with Rhodes, many feel that return will happen in Cleveland.

Whenever he re-emerges, The Head of the Table should acknowledge Solo Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief for the following four reasons.

#4. Doing so would align with tribal dynamics

The hierarchy of The Bloodline has been on full display for the WWE Universe. The Tribal Chief is the head of the family and has absolute power that should never be questioned.

Roman Reigns named Sikoa, and not Jimmy or Jey Uso, as The Tribal Heir. That meant Solo would eventually succeed Roman as the group's Tribal Chief. He would be promoted from his spot as the heir to take over the group when necessary.

Since Roman lost a huge piece of what gave the group power, he also lost some of his power. He hasn't been on TV since that big loss to Cody Rhodes. Going along with the new dynamic would mean he truly respects the hierarchy and isn't just power-hungry.

#3. Paying lip service that could lead to eventual retaliation

If Reigns shows up and acknowledges Solo Sikoa as the new Tribal Chief of The Bloodline, it would be a huge moment. Due to his overwhelming bravado and macho status, it was a shock when the Rock acknowledged Reigns.

Rocky is one of the biggest stars in the world, but in the ring, The Tribal Chief supersedes that. The Rock has stayed loyal to that vow so far, and Roman Reigns could make the same vow to Solo.

Roman may disapprove of how Solo took over the group but can understand why he did it. By acknowledging Solo, he can fall in line with the new group and eventually retaliate when the time is right. He could also plot in secret with the Usos and Heyman.

#2. It would be an unexpected move from Roman Reigns

Once Solo started to attack members of The Bloodline while also adding new members to the group, the writing was on the wall for Roman's return. Fans started to chant "We want Roman" with every passing week.

Attacking Jimmy Uso was one thing but assaulting Heyman was an unforgivable act. Fans expect Roman to be on a warpath when he returns. However, the huge shock would be if he fell in line behind Solo by acknowledging him as the new Tribal Chief.

The WWE Universe is rabid for Roman Reigns to tangle with Sikoa and the 31-year-old has laid out a challenge more than once. Acquiescing to Solo would go against what fans are hoping for and add a completely different layer to The Bloodline saga.

#1. He lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes

The person with the gold makes the rules and has all the power. That rule is usually true in wrestling groups like The Bloodline. Champions mention that fact all the time in WWE, AEW, TNA, and other promotions.

Roman Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes. The loss also means The Head of the Table no longer had the same amount of power he had before WrestleMania 40.

Solo has been hellbent on reclaiming the title for the faction and gets his chance to do so at SummerSlam. If he beats Cody Rhodes, he can claim that he was the one to restore glory to the stable.

Roman Reigns couldn't argue with that and may have to put his personal feelings aside to acknowledge the new Tribal Chief.
