Triple H to book major twist, Liv Morgan heel turn - 4 possible finishes for the Queen of the the Ring semi-final on RAW

WWE Monday Night RAW will be airing later tonight on the USA Network. This will be a big-time event, as it is the final edition of the red brand ahead of the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event which will be held in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

So far, just three matches have been confirmed for the red brand's latest episode, but they are three huge bouts. Sami Zayn will take on Chad Gable ahead of a Triple Threat Match on Saturday. Additionally, two tournament semi-final bouts will take place.

Gunther will battle Jey Uso for a spot in the King of the Ring final and, perhaps even more interestingly, IYO SKY will take on the up-and-coming Lyra Valkyria. Both IYO and Lyra have been successful in defeating their foes in the Queen of the Ring Tournament so far, but now the pair clash to see who advances to the finals.

Now fans are wondering which star will win the semi-final bout and move on to Saudi Arabia, but the intrigue goes deeper. Not only is it intriguing to see who will win, but how the bout concludes could also be fascinating, as there are some fun routes the company could take. This article will look at a few likely ways the match could end.

Below are four possible finishes for the Queen of the Ring semi-final on WWE RAW.

#4. Lyra Valkyria could get the upset win on WWE RAW

WWE fans are only just now learning about Lyra Valkyria, at least on a mainstream level. She has been on NXT UK and NXT where she was successful, but now being on RAW gives Lyra the most visibility of her wrestling career.

Make no mistake about it, Lyra is incredibly talented, but she is going in as an underdog. IYO has far more experience on the big stage and most casual fans think The Genius Of The Sky will walk all over the Irish woman.

In what would truly be a major twist booked by The Game, Lyra Valkyra could defeat IYO SKY cleanly. This would be shocking to fans, as IYO has been pushed as a top female star and Lyra is brand new to the main roster. Still, she may pin SKY and pick up a shocking win.

#3. Damage CTRL could help IYO SKY win

Damage CTRL is one of, if not the most dominant female faction in WWE history. The group was initially created in 2022 by Bayley and she, alongside Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, debuted the faction at SummerSlam.

Fast forward almost two years and the stable is very different. Kairi Sane and Asuka joined and Bayley has been kicked out. Now the group is comprised of IYO, Kairi, Dakota, and Asuka, although The Empress is currently out of action due to an injury.

Wherever IYO goes, the remaining healthy members of the stable follow. When she clashes with Lyra Valkyria on WWE RAW, there is a very real chance that Kairi and Dakota will be ringside and ultimately cause enough chaos to help SKY win. A cheap shot by Sane and then an Over The Moonsault could do the trick.

#2. Becky Lynch could thwart any interference

As noted, Lyra is brand new to WWE's main roster, as her only experience with the company had previously been on NXT UK and then NXT. Despite that, the talented Irish woman does have at least one friend on the red brand.

Becky Lynch is Lyra's long-time mentor. Big Time Becks' success served as inspiration from one Irish pro wrestler to another and their relationship has been highlighted on WWE television too. That's good for Lyra, as it may come in handy on RAW.

If Damage CTRL attempts to interfere, The Man could rush to the ring and fight them off. If she takes care of Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai, it could both provide a distraction to IYO and allow Valkyria to recover in time to get a pin during all of the chaos. Becky can change the game on RAW.

#1. Liv Morgan could officially turn heel by brutalizing Becky backstage and causing a distraction finish

Liv Morgan has had a compelling story arc in WWE lately. She returned from an injury as a babyface, but swore revenge on Rhea Ripley after being injured by The Eradicator. While that should've endeared her to fans with Rhea being a heel, it didn't quite work out that way.

Instead, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan have seemingly almost had a double turn, but not quite. Liv has been acting more heelish in WWE and Ripley is away from television but will likely return to Monday Night RAW as a hero.

Now could be the time for Triple H to officially turn Liv and make her a villain. In an effort to distract Lyra, Morgan could brutally attack Becky Lynch backstage mid-match. The screen could show the savage beatdown, which would then cause Lyra to be distracted. From there, once the heel turn is complete, SKY could use the distraction to get a win over the newcomer on WWE RAW.
