Triple H to bring back unique finish after 22 years for CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre? Potential Hell in a Cell surprise explored
Triple H has booked one hell of a match for WWE Bad Blood. In what will be a trilogy, CM Punk will face off against Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell. It promises to be an incredible bout, with both men claiming they will make the other bleed. It's sure to be a real slogfest, but when it comes to the finish, The Game may have something unique planned that hasn't been seen in 22 years.
The finish in question would see either CM Punk or Drew McIntyre pin the other on top of Hell in a Cell. Granted, it sounds like quite the task, and nigh impossible, but as mentioned earlier, a similar finish was seen 22 years ago. Coincidentally, Triple H himself was involved, as he pinned Chris Jericho on top of the demonic structure at Judgment Day 2002.
With that in mind, The Game could choose to pay homage to that incredible finish, by having CM Punk and Drew McIntyre recreate it. After absolutely destroying each other inside the contraption, The Best in the World and The Scottish Warrior, in some way or the other could find themselves on top of the cell. It is there the match could come to an end, with either a GTS or a Claymore finishing things off.
It certainly is one way to end this heated rivalry between the two superstars. But, at this point, it is nothing more than speculation, and only time will tell how things come to an end at WWE Bad Blood.
Triple H recently made a huge announcement regarding the future of WWE
Moving past WWE Bad Blood, Triple H has some huge plans for the Stamford-based promotion. With an eye on progress, The Cerebral Assassin recently made a massive announcement with regard to one of the company's biggest PLEs, SummerSlam. He confirmed that The Biggest Party of the Summer will now be a two-night event.
Similar to WrestleMania, SummerSlam will also take place over the course of two evenings. The venue for this event will be Metlife Stadium. SummerSlam will establish its status as the second most significant event for WWE following WrestleMania.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has in store for SummerSlam. One thing is for sure though, it's bound to be a very entertaining two-night extravaganza.
