Triple H to fire major star himself; 41-year-old to miss Bad Blood due to injury? - 4 things that are possible following WWE RAW

WWE RAW aired last night on the USA Network and it turned out to be an epic show despite initially seeming as if the episode would be low-key. Some of the biggest stars from the red brand competed or were highlighted in some way.

The show featured a blend of exciting matches, riveting promos, intense brawls, and the continuation of numerous big stories. Names such as CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Gunther, Damian Priest, IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Sami Zayn were highlighted.

Not only did the show entertain, but it set up a lot for the future. This article will take a look at a handful of big events that are now possible following what went down on RAW. This could include a big name being fired, the return of a former world champion, and more.

Below are four things that are possible following WWE RAW.

#4. Triple H could shockingly fire Bronson Reed from WWE

Arguably the most intense and violent feud in all of WWE is one that only started relatively recently. Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed have been going to war seemingly every single week.

On Monday Night RAW, the two big men were meant to have a match. Instead of it ever getting underway, however, they broke the ring and proceeded to fight all over the backstage area. Bronson was a menace, as was Braun.

Reed took things too far, however, as he put his hands on a fan and sent them flying like a lawn dart at Strowman. While both men were fined, Triple H may need to show up and handle business. That could mean The Game may end up firing Bronson for his actions, which would be disappointing, but potentially necessary.

#3. Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor could be delayed after the assault on the former

Damian Priest was once the de facto leader of The Judgment Day in the eyes of many WWE fans. Things changed, however, when the former World Heavyweight Champion was betrayed at SummerSlam 2024. Now, he and Rhea Ripley are both enemies of the stable.

The Archer of Infamy was looking to get a measure of revenge when he took on Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW last night. Unfortunately, The Judgment Day had the numbers advantage and they beat Priest down in a violent fashion while Rhea was unable to save him.

While unconfirmed, there is a chance that the beating was bad enough to require Priest's upcoming match with Finn Balor at Bad Blood 2024 to be delayed. The two men could instead wait to fight until the 41-year-old star is recovered, perhaps at Crown Jewel or Survivor Series: WarGames.

#2. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre could become a "Loser Leaves RAW Match"

The story of CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre is the most intense and personal rivalry in all of WWE. The angle began, at least in some form, back at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023. The two have since gone on to compete against each other in two big singles matches.

The pair are set to clash at Bad Blood 2024 in a Hell in a Cell Match. On WWE RAW, CM Punk delivered a shocking and serious promo, making it clear that he intends to make The Scottish Warrior bleed and suffer.

The animosity between the two stars may never end, so following Punk's promo on RAW, an additional stipulation may be added to their impending bout. It may become a "Loser Leaves RAW Hell in a Cell Match." This would mean that, regardless of the winner, the feud will be over once the bell rings.

#1. Big E could return to fix things within The New Day

The New Day has been in shambles as of late. In truth, the stable has not been the same following Big E's serious injury that took him out of action from WWE back in 2022. Two years later, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are still trying to figure things out.

Unfortunately, it is a bit messy right now. Xavier Woods has expressed a lot of frustration, both with Kofi himself and with his standings in WWE as a whole. This has led to many people believing that their team is going to break up, especially with how Xavier snapped at Kingston backstage following their loss on RAW.

In what could be a great swerve, instead of a heel turn, the seeds may have been planted for the return of Big E. Whether he can compete or act as a manager, the former world champion could show up and mend fences between Kofi and Woods to fix The New Day moving forward.
