Triple H to make a huge announcement at Survivor Series following massive backstage fight? Exploring the possibility

WWE CCO Triple H might announce a huge match at the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames event on November 30, 2024. Triple H hasn't made the match official till now, leaving the WWE fans perplexed.

And what's that match? It's Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens at Survivor Series: WarGames. Although the two are rumored to face each other at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, Triple H might prepone the match, and make it happen at Survivor Series, as Cody Rhodes is extremely annoyed at Kevin Owens.

Rhodes had a heated exchange with Owens on Friday Night SmackDown last week, and The Prizefighter showed no remorse for his actions in WWE over the past few weeks. He also didn't show any regret about seriously injuring Randy Orton.

He instead blamed Cody Rhodes for the mess. While Rhodes called out Owens for a match at Survivor Series or Saturday Night's Main Event, KO just walked out, saying it would happen when he wanted it.

After this verbal altercation with KO, Cody had another clash backstage with former NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes.

The two are slated to each other on this week's SmackDown, and we might see KO attack Rhodes before or after the match. Rhodes might then be extremely furious at Owens, and on the day of Survivor Series, Cody Rhodes might come out, and challenge KO for the match right there.

Triple H could then come out and announce not just a regular match, but a Falls Count Anywhere match between KO and Cody for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

This would be a huge surprise for the fans, as Cody vs. Owens isn't advertised for Survivor Series, and the Undisputed WWE Champion isn't scheduled to compete in any match.

Randy Orton might return at Survivor Series to show support for Cody Rhodes

The fans might witness another surprise at Survivor Series: WarGames as Randy Orton might also return on the same night. The Viper has been out of action since the November 8, edition of SmackDown when KO hit him with a piledriver, a banned move.

WWE, later in a statement, said that Orton had been diagnosed with cervical cord neurapraxia and there was no timetable for his return. However, Orton might shockingly return at Survivor Series, in case Carmelo Hayes tries to intervene in Cody's potential match against KO at Survivor Series.

Even if there is no match announced for KO and Cody Rhodes, Orton could still come out and declare his support for The American Nightmare. The ball is in Triple H's court now, and only he can decide how Cody and KO will get to settle their scores.
