Triple H to make landscape-changing WWE announcement on RAW? Exploring the potential plan

WWE Money in the Bank 2024 is now in the rearview mirror. However, many fans are seemingly unhappy with the booking of the Men's MITB contract.

There were many ways that the company could have booked the Men's Money in the Bank contract's cash-in that allowed CM Punk to cost Drew McIntyre and enable someone else to secure the briefcase. The backlash surrounding the angle could force Triple H to book a massive match that has actually taken place before.

When Carmella received help in winning the Money in the Bank contract in 2017, it caused such an issue that the company was forced to present a rematch. The said bout was eventually won by The Princess of Staten Island.

Tonight on RAW, there could be a Money in the Bank rematch, but another person could be added in Drew McIntyre's place since he has been indefinitely suspended.

WWE has made drastic decisions to please viewers in the past. This could be another way to ensure that fans go home happy and that the Men's Money in the Bank contract is still in play for the next 12 months.

WWE could choose another Money in the Bank winner

Drew McIntyre was the only man in this year's Money in the Bank Ladder Match who was a former WWE World Champion. This meant that the doors were open for someone to use the bout as a way to push themselves into the world championship picture. However, the contract was wasted on McIntyre and used as another prop in the feud between the Scotsman and CM Punk.

Carmelo Hayes, Chad Gable, LA Knight, Andrade, and Jey Uso could all benefit from a rematch being announced on RAW. One of them might be given a chance to establish themselves as a main event-level talent on their respective brand.

It remains to be seen whether WWE decides to take the drastic step, given Drew McIntyre's recent suspension.
