Triple H might be forced to strip Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez of WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles
WWE CCO Triple H might have to make a hard decision on the fate of the current Women's Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. The Game could strip the duo of their titles next week after what happened on Monday Night RAW tonight.
Liv Morgan suffered a serious injury during her match against Kairi Sane on RAW. Morgan awkwardly landed on her arms after a move by Sane. The move turned out to be ugly as The Miracle Kid hurt her shoulder.
She rolled out of the ring and was later taken away by the medical team. Morgan held her elbow as she walked backstage. The match was discontinued, and Kairi Sane was declared the winner. Michael Cole later reported that Morgan had suffered a dislocated shoulder.
The injury can be detrimental to Morgan's future in WWE for the next few weeks, as it may require her to undergo surgery. This will keep her away from WWE for a significant period. In that case, she and Raquel Rodriguez may have to forfeit their titles as they can't defend them.
Next week on RAW, Adam Pearce could ask Morgan and Rodriguez to hand over their titles. A tournament can be announced by Pearce, and the finals can take place at the Evolution 2 Premium Live Event next month. It remains to be seen how WWE handles Morgan's injury and her tag team title.
Nikki Bella was supposed to square off against Liv Morgan at Evolution 2 PLE
Liv Morgan's shoulder injury could also cancel her much-anticipated match against Nikki Bella at the Evolution 2 PLE next month. Although the bout wasn't officially announced, it was rumored to happen after Morgan and Nikki's encounter last week.
The match could have also been a tag team match, as Brie Bella was also expected to return to WWE.
However, all plans for Morgan might be shelved now, and The Miracle Kid might have to stay on the sidelines for some time. The company can make an official announcement on Morgan's injury soon.
