Triple H needs to bring back 21-time Tag Team Champions after nearly five years for a final run with WWE

WWE has improved drastically over the past year under Triple H's creative leadership and full creative control of the weekly product. However, a significant change is yet to be made in the tag team division, which was unified under the old regime after WrestleMania 38.

Lately, The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) have voiced displeasure with their use in All Elite Wrestling. Some feel that the legendary duo – who have won 21 tag titles over the past two decades with 11 different promotions – have been wasted under Tony Khan's creative leadership.

In 2022, Jeff Hardy reunited with Matt Hardy at AEW, which led to them entering the tag team division. After a short run, Jeff was out for a while and recently made his return alongside his brother. Unfortunately, Matt and Jeff have lost roughly half of their matches in tag team and trios action.

In what has been called their 'Final Run' as a tag team, Tony Khan has not booked them to the standards that many feel they deserve. It might be for the best if the team doesn't end their careers in the promotion and returns to WWE for a final run under Triple H's regime.

Why should The Hardy Boys have a final WWE run under Triple H's creative leadership?

In 2022, Triple H took over the creative responsibilities of Vince McMahon, who willingly stepped away from his duties. After months of the new regime, the quality of the weekly and monthly products drastically improved, and WWE ended up creating and breaking records in the process.

Meanwhile, The Hardys have lost several matches and failed to make a big impact in their final run with the promotion. The team was initially supposed to go after the AEW World Tag Team Championship but was unable to do so after Jeff went on a hiatus.

A final WWE run under the new and improved leadership could allow the brothers to retire in glory without losing too many matches. Moreover, the tag team division needs more teams and separate titles. A veteran team can easily fill the hole and make the division stronger than before.

Also, The Hardy Boyz can go out the way they deserve under the new creative leadership instead of stacking losses on Rampage. It will be interesting to see what the tag team does in their current run with AEW.
