Triple H doesn't have plans for legendary star; who is the Coming Soon video for? 5 things WWE subtly told us on SmackDown

The go-home edition of WWE SmackDown for Bad Blood 2024 has ended, with The Bloodline standing tall as the WWE Tag Team Champions after a stellar title defense. The show also saw AJ Styles' return, which ended abruptly.

In this article, we will discuss five things the Stamford-based promotion subtly hinted at during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

#5. Motor City Machine Guns behind the Coming Soon video?

WWE has aired a vignette with a 'Coming Soon' message on SmackDown. The video featured a car-themed vignette, which many fans believe hints at the arrival of the Motor City Machine Guns on the blue brand. Both Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are reportedly signed with WWE and are ready to make their debut.

Amid this speculation, the vignette suggests that they will be part of SmackDown upon their WWE debut. Additionally, recent reports claimed that Alex and Chris are indeed SmackDown-bound. We may only have to wait a few weeks to witness the arrival of the Motor City Machine Guns on the blue brand.

#4. The Bloodline might have a longer title reign

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa defended their WWE Tag Team Titles in the recent main event against DIY and Street Profits. The ladder match saw several nearfall moments where it seemed like The Bloodline might no longer remain champions, but they still managed to retain.

Defeating DIY and the Street Profits in a high-profile match suggests the villainous faction may have a longer tag team title reign on SmackDown.

After this, there aren’t many major tag teams left on SmackDown that are believed to be capable of dethroning Tama and Tonga. Even if the Motor City Machine Guns debut after Bad Blood, it would take weeks to build them up before giving them a title shot. So, with this, fans could expect the tag team title reign to last at least until Crown Jewel 2024.

#3. Tiffany Stratton's face turn is on the horizon now

The latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown hinted that Tiffany's face turn is now on the horizon.

This was subtly indicated when Nia Jax was down in the corner of the ring, and Tiffany had her Money in the Bank briefcase in hand, seemingly ready to hit Jax and cash in her title shot.

However, when Nia locked eyes with Tiffany, she hesitated and changed her actions. Given all this, it seems likely that Bad Blood 2024 could finally be the stage where Stratton completes her face turn, distancing herself from the Irresistible Force.

#2. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens might have a role at Bad Blood 2024

Despite being the go-home edition for Bad Blood 2024, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens were notably absent from the show. However, this could be because they may have a role to play in Bad Blood 2024. The Viper and KO were missing, and Cody Rhodes was also absent from the episode.

While Owens and Orton are not officially booked for the Bad Blood card, they could still appear during The Bloodline vs Roman Reigns and Rhodes.

Both The Legend Killer and The Prizefighter have a history with The Bloodline and share a strong friendship with The American Nightmare. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that, despite missing the latest SmackDown, they may still appear at Bad Blood 2024.

#1. Triple H might have no plans for AJ Styles on SmackDown

After weeks of anticipation, AJ Styles finally returned to television on the latest edition of Friday Nights. However, his return didn’t end happily, as Styles suffered a potential injury during his match against Carmelo Hayes. Still, many signs indicate that this could be part of a storyline and that Styles' injury may not be real.

If this turns out to be true, it could be because Triple H has no immediate plans for The Phenomenal One. Writing him off television again with this injury angle would give WWE more time to develop a proper storyline and feud for the veteran, allowing them to book him more effectively in the Stamford-based promotion.
