Triple H to punish WWE star for putting his hands on Adam Pearce; huge heel turn? 4 things that could happen following Monday Night RAW
The go-home episode of WWE RAW ahead of Bad Blood 2024 featured a lot of huge moments, including the return of Seth Rollins, The Miz's heel turn, and a heated verbal altercation between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.
A lot of big things could happen after what went down on the latest episode of RAW.
So without further ado, let's take a look at four of those things:
#4. Triple H could punish Bronson Reed
The main event of last night's RAW featured an explosive Last Monster Standing Match between BIG Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman.
During the encounter, the Aussie monster got physical with the match referee and tossed him away. This led to General Manager Adam Pearce confronting Reed. The King of Monsters did not hold back and put his hands on the RAW Authority Figure before the officials intervened.
Bronson Reed has caused destruction on RAW for the last two months, and he has already been fined multiple times by Pearce. However, the 46-year-old has been unable to stop the unhinged monster.
After the latest events, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H may finally intervene and fine or suspend Reed for a few weeks.
#3. Sami Zayn vs. Gunther could end in a disqualification
Sami Zayn made history at WrestleMania XL as he ended Gunther's historic Intercontinental Championship reign. The Underdog from The Underground desperately wanted a shot at The Ring General's World Heavyweight Championship for weeks, and his challenge was finally accepted by the Austrian on the latest episode of RAW.
The two men will face off for the title next week. However, the match could end in disqualification following Ludwig Kaiser's potential attack on Zayn.
The angle could set up a rematch between Gunther and Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, where the latter enjoys immense popularity.
#2. CM Punk could be written off WWE programming
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have had one of the biggest feuds in pro wrestling this year. The rivalry will likely come to an end this Saturday when they collide inside the deadly Hell in a Cell structure at Bad Blood.
Whoever loses the match may be written off television for a while. The bitter rivals have previously traded victories at SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin. In Atlanta, The Best in The World could put over The Scottish Warrior and take some time off from WWE programming.
The Straight Edge Superstar may not be a part of Crown Jewel next month and is also not being advertised for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 anymore, which may be a hint that he may go on a hiatus for a while.
#1. Xavier Woods could turn heel and dethrone WWE Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso
Xavier Woods has shown a new attitude in recent weeks. He got a huge win over Rey Mysterio on WWE RAW this week and will challenge Jey Uso for the Intercontinental Championship on the post-Bad Blood episode of the red brand.
The former RAW Tag Team Champion could cheat during the match to win his first singles title in WWE. It may also lead to him abandoning Kofi Kingston eventually.
On the other hand, Jey Uso losing the title would allow him to leave for SmackDown, where he could join Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames.
