Triple H to be viciously attacked after SmackDown trade sees friends split up leading to WrestleMania match? Checking possible twist

Triple H shook things up in a big way on WWE SmackDown, but it might not be all good news for the head of creative. He could find himself attacked because, without realizing it, his actions have resulted in two best friends being split up after the SmackDown trade.

After Jey Uso left WWE SmackDown and The Bloodline, he was brought to RAW by Cody Rhodes as a trade. In return, another star would be heading to SmackDown, but the move was not immediately announced. Instead, fans had to wait.

The trade was finally announced tonight, with Triple H announcing the new General Manager of WWE SmackDown, Nick Aldis. When the latter was appointed General Manager, he announced that Kevin Owens had been traded to SmackDown.

Owens' arrival on SmackDown means that his team with Sami Zayn is no more. The two best friends have been officially split up, which might not sit well with both of them. Instead, there might be consequences for the WWE Hall of Famer.

Owens is not known for maintaining his temper. In fact, he loses it very often. While it may seem that Aldis is at fault for trading him to SmackDown, Triple H decided to bring the SmackDown General Manager. Given that Aldis had just started, he also clearly had a hand in the trade.

The star got used to tagging with his best friend again and being split up this way. He won't be happy. Not only that, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles were championships he was looking to get back in the future. Now, without Zayn, those dreams are gone.

This might provoke the star into assaulting the Game, blaming him for his misfortunes. If Owens does attack Triple H, it will play into a larger storyline. While the Hall of Famer might unlikely return to the ring, he might choose someone to wrestle Owens for him.

If Owens does attack Triple H, then it will be part of a longer feud. Following a long rivalry, KO might face whoever The Game chooses to fight for him at WrestleMania.

Given his history with Shane McMahon, this would not be the first time that Owens went up against authority either.

Triple H may soon appear on a WWE show again

The Game has now made two appearances recently - one at Fastlane and another on SmackDown tonight. With the RAW season premiere next week, he might also be appearing on that show.

The authority figure has been more involved recently, and this might be something that continues further. If he does appear on RAW, what role he plays remains to be seen.
