Back in the ring, Rollins connected a perfect Frog Splash onto Triple H’s back. He took a steel chair, and as he was about to hit him, Triple H struck his knee from below and trapped his knee with a steel chair and attacked him constantly.
When Rollins regained momentum, he suplexed Triple H from the top rope and followed with a falcon arrow. While he climbed on the top turnbuckles to hit a Phoenix splash, Stephanie swept his legs, hurting his knees more. Triple H then applied a kneebar onto Rollins, who didn’t tap out.
Outside the ring, Triple H continued to work on Rollins, who searched under the ring desperately for an object to escape. He took out the sledgehammer, which Triple H spotted. The Game stopped his submission to enter the ring and hit Rollins with the sledgehammer. Rollins avoided getting hit with the Sledgehammer, but Triple H still got the better of him. As Triple H attempted once more to hit him with the sledgehammer, Rollins connected with an enziguri.
Rollins then took the sledgehammer and tried to hit him, but Stephanie snatched it away in the nick of time. The distraction led to Triple H hitting the pedigree, but The Architect kicked out.
Triple H looked to hit a pedigree from the top rope, only to be met with a backdrop and a Phoenix splash, but it wasn’t enough. Rollins and Triple H then exchanged Pedigree attempts.
