Tsunami supremacy or returning for revenge? 5 possible finishes to the Last 'Monster' Standing match on next week's RAW

RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has had enough of the ongoing feud between monsters Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. They were supposed to have a match two weeks ago but broke the ring ropes.

The battle continued backstage, and the behemoths destroyed the backstage area. Reed and Strowman kept it going this week in the opening segment of RAW. The Monster of All Monsters interrupted Reed's match with the Miz later in the night.

To finally put the destructive feud to rest, Pearce booked a Last 'Monster' Standing match for next week's show. The next five outcomes could determine whether Reed or Strowman is the victorious monster.

#5. Bronson Reed could be the Last 'Monster' Standing

The angle began with Reed cutting a swath of destruction through any and every star who stood across from him in the ring. It started with Seth Rollins, who claimed R-Truth, the Miz, and unlucky security guards.

Reed was about to do more damage, but Strowman re-emerged to fight the Aussie monster. The two engaged in stunts that would fit into the legendary arcade game and Dwayne Johnson's movie Rampage.

The storyline is crafted to present Reed as an unstoppable monster, so having a definitive win over Strowman on RAW would further that narrative. Braun has been in and out of action over the last two years, so a clean victory by Reed is a strong possibility.

#4. Seth Rollins might get revenge on Bronson Reed by helping Braun Strowman

Seth Rollins was the first to fall victim to Bronson Reed's new-found push. He interrupted The Visionary's confrontation with CM Punk following Money in the Bank, hitting six Tsunami splashes.

Since that attack, Rollins has been missing from RAW, while Reed has resumed his path of destruction. The former World Heavyweight Champ may be ready to return.

With such a big stipulation as Last 'Monster' Standing, interference is legal and likely in this contest. Rollins could assist a former tag team partner by burying Reed under a forklift or other large pieces of furniture.

#3. Neither competitor might answer the 10-count on RAW

Adam Pearce booked this match to end the carnage between Strowman and Reed. However, with a Last Man Standing match, there is a strong possibility that both men will stay down for the 10-count.

One or both stars may endure too much damage to make it to their feet. That finish would prolong the feud to a bigger stage, perhaps at Crown Jewel in early November.

Both stars could use a few weeks to recover after the Last 'Monster' Standing match carnage on RAW. The rivalry could then truly end on a bigger stage in Saudi Arabia.

#2. Braun Strowman could end Reed's symphony of destruction

A clean victory would announce that sentiment if Strowman remains healthy and is involved in bigger plans after his rivalry with Reed.

That booking would have made sense had Bron Breakker defeated Jey Uso on RAW. Instead, Jey won his first singles title in WWE.

Bookers could still pivot to a feud between the former NXT Champ and The Monster of All Monsters before returning to a rematch between Breakker and Uso.

He could also be a future challenger for Gunther. Whatever Strowman's next move, keeping Reed down for a 10-count could be the first step toward a bigger opportunity.

#1. The Miz could betray Braun Strowman to help Bronson Reed win

The Miz fell into Reed's path as he tried to save his friend and tag team partner, R-Truth. The former WWE Champion bravely stood up to Bronson but met the same fate as Rollins and Truth.

Strowman claimed that "you need a monster to put down a monster," and The A-Lister considered it an insult. Even Karrion Kross tried to sow doubt in Miz's mind by claiming that the locker room doesn't respect him despite his resume.

If The Miz is due for his latest character shift, he could interfere to aid Reed on next week's RAW. The A-Lister could bludgeon him with a weapon, showing everyone he can be a different type of monster.
