Twitter reacts to WWE NXT (November 20, 2019): Triple H, Becky Lynch, Adam Cole, and others comment on the show
Tonight's episode of NXT was eventful as it saw Superstars from RAW and SmackDown invading the NXT Arena. The show kicked off with the WWE RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch returning to the Black and Gold brand after almost 3 years and called out NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler.
Rhea Ripley came out to the ring and challenged Becky Lynch to a match. Lynch accepted it and a match was set up between the two of them. Their match ended in a no-contest after Shayna Baszler along with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir attacked them. Ripley and Lynch fought off Baszler and the Horsewomen.
Up next was a match between RAW Superstar Ricochet and Matt Riddle. During their fight, SmackDown Superstars Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro came in from the crowd and the distraction caused Ricochet to get pinned by Riddle.
Next came the NXT Tag Team Championship match between Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish and The Revival. Both teams delivered one of the best performances of the night and after a good back-and-forth battle, The Undisputed Era were able to retain their titles.
NXT UK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray squared off against Dakota Kai in the next match of the night and pinned the Captain of Team Kick to win the match. After the match, women Superstars from RAW and SmackDown rushed into the ring and a brawl broke out between every one of them. In the end, Nikki Cross stood tall after she took everyone out with a trash can lid.
RAW Tag Team Champions, The Viking Raiders faced off against Wesley Blake & Steve Cutler of The Forgotten Sons and won after pinning Cutler with The Viking Experience.
The main event of the match saw Adam Cole and Dominik Dijakovic square off against each other in a WarGames Advantage Ladder Match. After a fiery battle, Cole climbed the ladder and grabbed the briefcase to win the match and get the advantage for his team at TakeOver: WarGames.
The show ended with an all-out brawl between the Superstars of all the three brands and Seth Rollins and Tommaso Ciampa engaging in fisticuffs.
Considering that this was the go-home show for NXT before WarGames and the final episode before Sunday's Survivor Series, NXT delivered a solid show. Now, we will take a look at some of the best tweets from Superstars and members of the WWE Universe.
