Twitter reacts to WWE SmackDown (November 22, 2019): Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and others comment on the show
Tonight's go-home episode of WWE SmackDown came to us live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and kicked things off with a Triple Threat match between the team captains of the women's 5-on-5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match. Rhea Ripley stole a victory from Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks to give Team NXT the edge.
Up next was a 4-on-4 tag-team match which pitted The New Day and Heavy Machinery against The Undisputed Era. After a chaotic back-and-forth match, The Undisputed Era won the match when Roderick Strong pinned Tucker Knight after hitting him with a running knee.
Daniel Bryan came out next to summon WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt but was instead confronted by The Miz. This set up a match between the two Superstars and during a point when it looked like Bryan was going to get the win, the lights in the arena went out and he was greeted by 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt, who took him out with the Mandible Claw.
The main event of the night saw Mustafa Ali, Shorty G, and Roman Reigns teaming up to take on King Corbin, Robert Roode, and Dolph Ziggler in a six-man tag match. After a hard-hitting contest, Corbin hit Ali with the Deep Six for the pin to win.
After the match, Corbin tried to attack Ali with his scepter but was intercepted by Reigns, who took him out with a Spear. Soon after that, Seth Rollins and most of the RAW roster invaded the arena as they came through the crowd Shield-style and started attacking everyone at ringside.
NXT joined the fray by coming through the backstage area while Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Road Dogg led the convoy on a jeep, all D-Generation X style. The show closed off with all Superstars of the three brands brawling in and out of the ring.
Given the fact that it was the last episode of the Blue Brand before Sunday's Survivor Series, it was nicely executed to hype up the WWE Universe's anticipation for the upcoming PPV. Below, we have highlighted some of the best Twitter reactions from Superstars and members of the WWE Universe.
