Two weeks notice: How to move forward with Triple H vs Daniel Bryan ahead of WrestleMania XXX
Only two editions of Raw and Smackdown are left between today and WrestleMania 30. Ten hours of Programming still left before the grandest show of them all kicks off. On paper five matches have already been booked for April 6th. Some might just seep through in the coming weeks. By now, the storm surrounding CM Punk’s exit has settled and WWE has given Bryan some serious leverage following his road to WrestleMania.
With the ‘Occupy Raw’ segment and the ‘Hijack Raw’ segment, the management has made sure that many voices on the Internet are transformed into material for hyping up Daniel Bryan’s momentum. In the two weeks preceding WrestleMania 30, the WWE should make sure that Triple H continues with his brilliant monstrous heel turn but Daniel Bryan also gets some huge developments in his stride.
Firstly, the attack last week was unprecedented. The attack was anyway expected but the way it was about to unravel was not obvious. In a long, elaborate assault the Authority literally stamped its authority over Bryan and left many seething. Triple H surely has it coming to him at WrestleMania.
While the stage is perfectly set for Triple H vs Daniel Bryan, there is next to no excitement or development for Batista Vs Orton. The main event has been dominated by the collective appeal of Triple H, Stephanie and Daniel Bryan and till now we have seen nothing special coming from Batista or Orton except a few quick little quips about how boring each of their characters have gotten.
Triple H might most probably lose at WrestleMania but Daniel Bryan might not necessarily win in the main event. Daniel Bryan might get his revenge on Triple H at WM but how will Stephanie get her share of the bargain. She has been a brilliant heel since the Raw after Summerslam last year and last week she pulled off a very Attitude Era-esque performance. While the Attitude Era fans were pretty unperturbed with their reactions towards her, the PG crowd is controlled and tame. So how to make Stephanie McMahon suffer for her misdeeds?
A reasonable way to do that will be involving Brie Bella in the coming Raw. An interaction between them is long overdue and this might just balance things on some level. And if treated right, this can be a good way to promote Total Divas too. Brie Bella doesn’t have a WrestleMania Match in order yet and her only involvement in this feud with the Authority has been a tweet or WWE’s favourite Twitter.
Getting Brie Bella battle Stephanie with words is harmless for one Raw segment and it might actually get entertaining seeing somebody standing upto Stephanie like that and might also give Brie Bella a good enough babyface momentum. Rather than using her as a Damsel In Distress, they better use her as an equal threat to Stephanie McMahon. While her sister is set to maybe have a match for the title at WrestleMania, Brie’s involvement in WrestleMania can be in the match between Bryan and Triple h.
They can’t have Triple H come over Bryan week after week till April 6th. There has to be a night when Daniel Bryan is left standing tall. Triple H and Stephanie have done a great job of making people want to see them beaten down but while Triple is expected to get his due at WrestleMania, Stephanie McMahon has to pay for it too rather than just sulking or fuming at her husband’s eventual loss at WrestleMania.
While Cena and Wyatt are having an exciting build up, Undertaker and Lesnar need to be present at the same time to make their feud matter and maybe tomorrow’s the day when the Shield will get itself a match at WrestleMania which is rumored to be their final match.
Triple H and Bryan, though have dominated most of the programming.
Brie Bella can be the necessary entity to make Stephanie pay for what she has thrown at Bryan. Word for word or maybe slap for slap.
