Tyson Kidd undergoes Surgery, Another WWE Superstar reportedly injured
On June 1, in a dark match on Monday Night Raw Tyson Kidd took a muscle buster the wrong way from Samoa Joe and suffered some sort of injury that required medical personnel to attend to him while he was in the ring. Rumors and reports floated the entire week before WWE confirmed that he had, in fact, been hurt in the match. However, they did not give any details on the actual injury.

Reports from various sources like the Observer indicated a neck/spinal injury. Later, Kidd was spotted wearing a neck brace at Dusty Rhodes' funeral just last week. There still aren't any concrete details on the injury itself, nor a set recovery time, but all signs point to a lengthy absence for the wrestler. Today, he took to Twitter to confirm he would be getting surgery:
Looks like injuries are in no mood to provide respite to the WWE roster as another one bites the dust. Although it occurred a number of days ago, WWE has just announced that Erick Rowan was injured at a house show last Friday night.
The company has gotten into the habit of keeping injuries as quiet as possible until the situation is clear. The fact that they're reporting on Rowan's injury at all is somewhat surprising considering the lack of details, but if we don't see him for a while, we'll know why. They wrote the following:
“Erick Rowan sustained an injury at Friday night’s Live Event in Saginaw, Mich., and he is in the process of undergoing medical evaluation.”
