Uncle Howdy to bring back The Fiend and retire WWE legend next year to honor Bray Wyatt? It's not John Cena!
The Uncle Howdy-led Wyatt Sicks has terrorized the entire RAW roster since its debut in June 2024. Currently, the faction is engaged in a heated rivalry with The Final Testament and The Miz.
The latest episode of Monday Night RAW saw The Miz and The Final Testament assault the fearsome faction, seeking revenge on Uncle Howdy and Co. for attacking Paul Ellering and then kidnapping The A-Lister in recent months. This was the first time that the Wyatt Sicks stable was laid out.
While the faction has delivered since its debut, a section of fans feel that something is still missing. Hence, we may see Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas) resurrect the iconic masked character, The Fiend, which was portrayed by the late Bray Wyatt.
Recently, Goldberg confirmed that he would compete in his retirement match next year. A majority of fans believe Gunther would be Da Man's final opponent after seeds of a future face-off were planted at Bad Blood 2024.
However, in a stunning twist, the WWE Hall of Famer might face Uncle Howdy in his retirement match next year. For those who are unaware, Goldberg was heavily criticized after he squashed then-Universal Champion Bray Wyatt in a title match at Super ShowDown 2020.
Bo Dallas could bring back the iconic Fiend character and honor his late brother’s legacy by retiring the WCW legend next year. Bringing back the legendary character could also benefit the faction, which is currently struggling to establish a connection with a section of the WWE Universe. That said, the angle is speculative at this point.
Former WWE writer is unhappy with the Uncle Howdy-led faction getting attacked by The Final Testament
In the latest edition of Legion of RAW, former WWE head writer Vince Russo expressed his disappointment at The Final Testament and The Miz overpowering the Wyatt Sicks this past Monday.
The veteran said that the beatdown "didn't make any sense" to him.
"We've seen The Final [Testament] get beat a million times. They mean nothing. Now, if they were built like heels, nobody was touching them; now you've got some heat, but the fact that everybody and their aunt Tilly have beat The Final Judgment [Testament], and they are going to be the ones to get to the Wyatt Sicks? It doesn't make any sense to me," Russo said.
It will be interesting to see what the Triple H-led creative team has in store for Uncle Howdy and Co. ahead of the Survivor Series: WarGames.
