Undertaker collapsed at Wrestlemania, says Paul Heyman
There were a lot of rumours about the Undertaker suffering a concussion after his epic match against Brock Lesnar in Wrestlemania 30 which ultimately ended his streak. It is also said that Vince McMahon accompanied the phenom to the hospital immediately once he collapsed.
Now Paul Heyman, who had the best seat in the house to watch that clash revealed that the Undertaker indeed did collapse. Heyman speaking to Jericho’s podcase ‘Talk is Jericho’, said that immediately after the match, as soon as the phenom went through the curtain, he just collapsed.
Doubts over the deadman’s return to the ring grow day by day and it was rumoured that he had told his friends about not being in good shape to make a return. The WWE has a hard stance when it comes to concussions, so it remains to be seen how they manage this particular situation as the legend’s future is very important to them.
About CM Punk
Speaking to that podcast where Hall of Famer Edge was also present, Heyman also spoke about CM Punk’s exile from the business and it seems that the fans shouldn’t be expecting a return for the straight edge superstar anytime soon.
“He was Unhappy. He had enough.” said Heyman. “He couldn’t take it anymore…A year before he walked, these were daily conversations of, ‘I don’t think I’m going to be able to take this. I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to be here. I don’t know how much longer it’s going to be before I just decide to go home.’ I’m surprised it lasted that long…Every day with him was an exercise in him finding the balance to simply continue on and find the passion he needed to do it.”
Undertaker-Kane DVD
Meanwhile, not everything is gloomy with regards to the phenom as the WWE are planning to release a DVD titled ‘Brothers of Destruction’. The DVD will be released on the 7th of October, and will feature some epic moments involving ‘The Undertaker’ and his storyline half brother Kane.
