Undertaker's WWE contract to end soon, update on his future
Regarding the contract of The Undertaker, it is being reported by the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio that the Deadman’s contract is going to expire soon.
Of course, Taker will be working with the WWE and will renew his contract but considering that he is 50 now, it won’t be a long-term wrestling deal. With his annual Wrestlemania appearances recently, it is certain that the Phenom will be involved in a match at Wrestlemania 32 which takes place in his home state in Texas.
Following his retirement, whenever that might be, the current expectation is that ‘Taker and WWE will sign some type of new agreement which goes beyond the standard Legends deal. Then again, if he manages to maintain his fitness levels, wrestling wise, he could probably work for some more Mania matches. Those and several more options can be definitely included in his new contract.
It is to be noted that he is still one of the biggest draws in the business and can fill up arenas when he appears. So, Taker working on WWE’s payroll for his entire life shouldn’t come as a surprise to people.
