Update: Big Show working through leg injury

The WWE replaced Daniel Bryan with the Big Show because they felt that the audience needed to see larger than life characters on the show. While this did enrage a number of Bryan fans, the ratings for the show went up by quite a number.

However, it is being reported that the Big Show is now working injured. While smaller wrestlers like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan could work injured and still put on high quality matches, this is not true for someone as large as The Big Show.

Even in a house match against Randy Orton, Big Show was badly limping throughout, causing the match to be extremely slow paced, and it only lasted around five minutes.

The Big Show injury seems to be to his left leg, and while he is a “larger than life” character, one has to hope that the undercard of “Survivor Series” has some quality WWE matches to make up for what might end up being a slow lumbering match between Big Show and Randy Orton.

“WWE Survivor Series” takes place on Nov. 24.
