Update on Randy Orton's status with WWE, The Four Horsemen reunion, Brie worried
- According to reports, Randy Orton had been granted a vacation from WWE, and the attack on Orton from the Wyatt Family during the September 7 edition of WWE RAW was to write him off television for the time being.
Orton is currently scheduled to work WWE house show events this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama and Tupelo, Mississippi. He is scheduled to work against Sheamus on the shows, and even the fact that he’s part of the weekend tour, the odds of Orton attending Monday’s RAW show in Memphis, Tennessee are quite high.
Plans within WWE are constantly changing, so even though Orton may have been scheduled to take a leave of absence, the company could have easily changed their mind within a matter of days. It was also speculated if he really is being written off TV with last week’s attack by The Wyatt Family, he could just appear in dark segments this week.
Prior to the report of an Orton vacation, it was being speculated that he could be the third member of the Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns team that will be taking on the Wyatt Family at Night Of Champions. It looks like that option could certainly still be on the table and even quite likely given the backstage segment that aired during RAW last week with Orton speaking with Reigns and Ambrose.
-Meanwhile, a rare Four Horsemen reunion is going to bring a lot of smiles. The reunion is scheduled to take place at The Big Event wrestling convention on November 14th in Queens. The reunion will see Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon signing together. Many other stars including Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Chyna, Taz, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, The Wolves, Bobby Lashley, Virgil, Bram and more will be appearing.
However, it remains to be seen whether the fourth member of the stable Ric Flair makes an appearance or not. For those of you who don’t know, The Four Horsemen was a professional wrestling stable in the National Wrestling Alliance and later World Championship Wrestling. The original group featured Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard.
