WWE News: Update on Survivor Series teams for the 3 elimination matches

Survivor Series is in Toronto next month

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the build up to Survivor Series and the formation of teams will start right after Hell In A Cell.

Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan after No Mercy, issued out a challenge to Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley for 3 traditional inter-promotional Survivor Series elimination matches – Men’s, Women’s, and Tag Team.

The WON also reported the likely teams for each:

Men’s singles:

Smackdown Live: The locks for the Smackdown Live team are A.J Styles, Dean Ambrose, and Randy Orton. John Cena is likely to be the fourth member since he is advertised for Survivor Series(before being off again until the end of the year).

The fifth spot is likely to be Bray Wyatt or Dolph Ziggler, with The Miz being an outside possibility

Raw: The Raw team seems to have Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho & Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns as locks, with Rusev as the favorite for the last spot, along with possibly Sami Zayn or possibly Braun Strowman.

Women’s Singles:

Smackdown Live: Smackdown would have as a lock Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella. We are yet to find out if there is a storyline that involves Natalya getting to perform in her home country.

Raw: The Raw team is expected to have Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, Nia Jax as a lock, and the fifth member is most probably Dana Brooke.

Tag Team

Smackdown Live: Smackdown has Heath Slater & Rhyno and The Hype Bros as confirmed teams, and American Alpha and The Usos are locks as well. The final spot is expected to go to either The Vaudevillains or The Ascension.

Raw: New Day, Enzo & Cass, Sheamus & Cesaro and Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows are locks for Raw. The last spot would either go to Sami Zayn & Neville, R-Truth & Goldust or The Shining Stars.
