Vicious slam, Claymore off the top? 3 brutal stunts CM Punk and Drew McIntyre can pull off during Hell in a Cell Match at WWE Bad Blood
At WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre will look to put an end to their rivalry when they face each other in a Hell in a Cell Match. Previously, the bitter rivals faced each other on two occasions at SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin.
While The Scottish Warrior won the encounter at SummerSlam, The Best in The World defeated Drew in a Strap Match in Berlin. Their match at Bad Blood is expected to be way more brutal than the last two meetings, and it will be interesting to see what Punk and McIntyre do inside the cell.
In this article, we will look at three brutal stunts fans can expect from CM Punk and Drew McIntyre during the Hell in a Cell Match at WWE Bad Blood 2024:
#3. Drew McIntyre could break the cell wall
The Hell in a Cell is a massive structure. However, that does not mean the cell can't be broken. At WWE Bad Blood, The Scottish Psychopath could slam The Straight Edge Superstar through the cell wall in an attempt to break it. McIntyre's hatred for The Best in The World could drive him to do something along these lines.
If the Scotsman manages to break the cell wall by slamming CM Punk on it, then it would be a perfect throwback to the moment when the erstwhile Edge (Adam Copeland) broke the cell wall by Spearing The Undertaker at SummerSlam 2008. It will be interesting to see if this moment gets recreated in Atlanta next month.
#2. CM Punk could slam Drew McIntyre through the roof
In a Hell in a Cell Match, it's very common for wrestlers to move out of the demonic structure and climb to the top. While this scenario has its risks, WWE Superstars battling it out on the roof of the cell is a thrilling sight. Hence, it won't be surprising to see Punk and McIntyre do something along these lines at Bad Blood.
However, to make things more exciting, The Voice of The Voiceless could slam The Scottish Warrior repeatedly, leading to the roof breaking and McIntyre falling on the ring mat. This, in a way, would be similar to The Undertaker Chokeslamming Mick Foley and breaking the roof of the cell during their iconic encounter in 1998.
#1. Drew could nail a Claymore on Punk off the top of the cell
As mentioned above, it won't be surprising to witness Drew McIntyre and CM Punk battle it out on the top of the cell. Given their intense rivalry, the promotion will also do its best to make the rubber match a violent but entertaining affair.
Hence, when The Scottish Psychopath and The Second City Saint are on top of the cell, there could be a moment when Drew delivers a Claymore, which could lead to Punk falling from the top of the cell on the commentary table. While it is a dangerous spot, WWE has executed the same safely on many occasions.
