Video & Photos - Seth Rollins injured at WWE Dublin live event, update
- Seth Rollins may have hurt his leg or knee, based on the videos and photos circulating the internet, in a match against Kane in the main event at last night’s WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland.
WWE is on a month-long tour of the UK, and the whole thing started with an event in Dublin, Ireland last night. As seen in the video, the move that Rollins was attempting was a front flip off the top rope, when he appeared to land awkwardly and his leg gave out. To Rollins’ credit, he is said to have finished through the match and was helped out by the ringside officials when walking to the back.
The match was a No Hold Barred match for the WWE World Heavyweight title.
While there has been no confirmation of any kind from any verifiable parties, the word backstage indicates towards Rollins having tweaked his knee. Reports also note that the chances of this being a routine incident is high and Rollins may just tape up and work the rest of the tour.
In the last update, Rollins was said to have been waiting on getting his leg checked out, which will confirm the status of how serious the injury is and whether Rollins can continue working the tour.
If it is a serious injury, this will be a big blow for both WWE and for Rollins, who is in the middle of an impressive 300 plus day reign at the top as a WWE World Heavyweight champion. WWE just recently lost out on Randy Orton & Nikki Bella to injuries, while John Cena is away from the scene on account of personal reasons, making the roster quite thin at the top.
Also, Rusev is out with a bicep tear suffered last week.
