Video: Ronda Rousey's potshot at the WWE

What did you just say?

Ever since Holly Holm’s highlight reel head kick put a stop to the Ronda Rousey show, the IWC, MMA fanatics and the internet, in general, were of the opinion that the next stop for Rowdy would be the WWE.

And why not, Ronda Rousey may be what the sagging Divas division needs to get some legitimacy. A self-confessed fan of the WWE, Ronda Rousey’s WrestleMania 31 appearance further gave rise to speculations of Ronda eventually making it to the pro wrestling big dog.

The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion is set to host this weekend’s Saturday Night Live (SNL) and to hype up her appearance, she was featured in a video alongside SNL cast member Beck Bennet.

Bennet is seen dressed in wrestling tights and in one segment, Ronda took a shot at the WWE by saying, “You know I’m a UFC fighter, not WWE. We actually fight and don’t wear costumes.”

Considering how big a fan Ronda is of pro wrestling, her comments must be taken as pure banter, in a show that is all about harmless spoofs and barbs. Watch what she had to say below:

The so-called baddest woman on planet earth, who previously was billed to retire undefeated, now looks to avenge her shocking loss and get back the Bantamweight title she once proudly flaunted.

The Holm-Rousey rematch is by far, the most anticipated rematch in quite a long time, and if she does end up falling short again, WWE may be the go-to option for Rowdy.
