WrestleMania 32 News: Vince McMahon adds stipulation to Cell match

Shane McMahon, left, will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania with control of RAW on the line.

Monday night on RAW, Vince McMahon added a little more intrigue to the match between Shane McMahon and the Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 next month.

Describing Shane as “the most formidable opponent Undertaker has ever faced at WrestleMania,” Vince also called Undertaker his “bitch” and said that if Undertaker did not win the match, it would be his last at WrestleMania. That adds another layer to the Hell in a Cell match, which will also determine who has control of Monday Night RAW, Vince or Shane.

That opens the door for even more swerve potential and muddies the waters a bit for what the match’s result will be. It seems highly unlikely that Undertaker’s storied WrestleMania career, which includes a 22-1 record and an iconic 21-match unbeaten streak, would end in a loss to Shane McMahon. At the same time, it’s somewhat curious that Shane would be brought back for a fan-friendly angle like The Authority falling out of power without that coming to fruition.

It’s important to note that Vince never said this was a retirement stipulation for The Undertaker, so the possibility of Undertaker losing and somehow being forced to work on Smackdown or lesser events remains.
