Reports: Vince McMahon facing big problems, internal reactions to Cena's strong show on Raw

After John Cena’s strong display on Monday Night Raw last week, it was reported that Vince McMahon was behind the move and that he had booked the former WWE World champion to bury the Wyatt Family and restore his lost grounds after a heavy defeat to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

The reaction backstage to Vince’s decision of putting Cena over was described as poor and short-minded. On the other hand, the major issue was that there was no other superstar available for Cena to run over and they had to use the Wyatts for this purpose, considering they and Cena were involved in a storyline in the past.

Other superstars like Randy Orton wasn’t ready to do it while Kane was already involved with Roman Reigns.

This goes back to the lack of roster depth on both the babyface and heel side, especially when it comes to main event stars. One WWE source said it was a huge issue with Vince McMahon right now as he feels the company is not building main event stars fast enough.
