WWE News: War Machine make their NXT in-ring debut
What's the story?
After signing with WWE earlier this year and finally stepping in between the yellow ropes last week to cut their first NXT promo, War Machine finally made their in-ring debut tonight when they had their first WWE match in Jacksonville, Florida.
In case you didn't know...
War Machine formed in 2014 when Warbeard Hanson and Raymond Rowe joined forces. The pair have wrestled across the world and across several different promotions, including ROH, NJPW and ICW.
The illustrious tag team will be looking to add to their lengthy list of achievements, which includes winning the Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Championships once and the IWGP Tag Team Championships twice.
The heart of the matter
One day after another huge signing in Ricochet had a vignette shown on WWE television, the monstrous tag team of War Machine, whose signing was at the same time as the high-flyer, seem to be making strides towards their television debut, too.
The pair, highly regarded as one of the best in the world, were finally in action tonight against Eh Nois - the team of Adrian Jaoude and Cezar Bononi.
Below are some photos and a gif of their emphatic debut win.
What's next?
Will we see them on NXT television soon? You'd have to think so. Either way, it's great to see War Machine in a WWE ring.
I'm sure we won't have to wait too long to see Hanson and Rowe again.
Author's take
Well, we knew it was coming after the pair made an entrance and cut promos during last week's shows, and it's tremendous to see them have some physicality now.
Hanson and Rowe are undoubtedly one of the best tag teams in the world, and I can't wait to see them match up with Authors of Pain, SAnitY, Undisputed Era, Heavy Machinery, Street Profits, etc,
With NXT TakeOver: New Orleans not too far away, I think we'll be seeing a lot more of War Machine very, very soon.
