Roman Reigns is one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling right now. He made his WWE debut in 2012 as a member of The SHIELD with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (AKA Jon Moxley). He became a multi-time WWE Champion and had a historic reign of 1,316 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, there are some interesting facts about The Tribal Chief that you might not know about.

Reigns was not supposed to be part of The SHIELD. When CM Punk originally pitched the idea of the group he wanted Kassius Ohno (AKA Chris Hero) in place of Roman Reigns. But higher management rejected Ohno and chose Reigns instead and the rest, as we know, is history.

In 2016, he violated WWE's wellness policy and was suspended for 30 days. He had just dropped the WWE Championship and upon returning, management reportedly punished him by giving him the United States Championship instead of the WWE or Universal Championship.

Roman has been married to his wife, Galina Becker for more than a decade and has five children. He welcomed his daughter in 2007. Then his wife gave birth to a set of twin sons in 2016 and a second set of twins in 2020.
