What happened after Raw went off the air - August 11, 2014
Michael Cole announced that Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have left the building as Monday Night Raw went off the air from Portland.
With John Cena still in the ring, the birthday celebrations of Hulk Hogan continued as Titus O’Neil and Heath Slater brought in a cake which they eventually drop and ruin it in an argument.
Gene Okurlend says that they have a better plan and calls out for a bigger cake which is brought into the ring which has 999 candles over it, signifying the price of the WWE Network.
Cena leads everyone to sing Happy Birthday for Hogan as the Hulkster blows the candles out. Cena asks Hogan to take the fans home as he and everyone clear the ring.
A lot of confetti and balloons drop as Hogan’s music hits. But then he gets interrupted by the boss himself Vince McMahon.
Vince makes his way to the ring and gives Hogan a hug. He raises Hogan’s arm to the audience to more cheers, and then fairly quickly leaves the ring and heads to the back so Hogan can take in the cheers.
