What happened after Raw went off the air? November 7, 2016
Monday’s Raw in Glasgow went off the air, with Universal Champion Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, trash talking Seth Rollins, Enzo & Big Cass.
The dark segment involved a trade of catch phrases and insults, with the champion Kevin Owens saying, “My name is Enzo Amore and I don’t belong in WWE”, and his best friend Chris Jericho saying “My name is big Chris, and I’m 5”11, and you can’t teach that!”
About 7 minutes in, Owens and Jericho demanded that the babyfaces apologise to them for being rude. Jericho and Rollins shook hands, which then resulted in Rollins hitting Y2J with a pedigree.
Big Cass then big-booted Kevin Ownes out of the ring, after which, Rollins said that he’d always wanted to do the same. He then went on to spell out “S-A-W-F-T” for the crowd to repeat. This chant was aimed at JeriKO. You can see the full dark segment below:
Next week’s edition of Raw is set to have a face-off between The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar and Goldberg, which will be the first time in over 12 years, that the duo will face off in the same ring.
Smackdown Live Commissioner, Shane Macmahon, and General Manager Daniel Bryan will also be present at Raw, and after the show, they will be involved in a Network program called State Of The WWE Universe; which looks to be a debate between the Raw and Smackdown Live commissioners and General Managers.
One of the notable things about Raw was the women’s segment, in which the crowd chanted for Bayley through the course of the segment, singing “Will you be my girl?”
