WWE News: What happened after SmackDown and 205 Live went off the air? (December 6th, 2016)
In the dark main event, American Alpha and Dolph Ziggler defeated The New Wyatt Family in a six-man tag team match. Alpha and Ziggler, the babyfaces, won when Jason Jordan pinned Luke Harper.

After the match, Luke Harper, and Randy Orton teased tension between them. Orton then attempted an RKO on Luke Harper, who blocked it. The Wyatts then seemed to joke about it, as if the tension was just made up. The trio then did their pose on the turnbuckles to end the show.
As seen, the arena was more than half-empty, when the dark match happened. For 205 Live itself, which premiered right after SmackDown Live, quite a few people had left, but not as much as the previous week in Columbus, South Carolina.
For the first 205 Live show, the security even had to move around the crowd and refrain from casting light on the upper layers, to cover the fact that a lot of seats were empty.
While it wasn’t as bad this time, after 205 Live, a major portion of the crowd left. Even for SmackDown Live, a member of the audience reported that the side not shown by the camera was almost half empty. This further exposes the trouble WWE has in selling out SmackDown Live without John Cena.
Dark matches always end with the babyfaces standing tall, primarily done to send the audience home happy. However, the 2-and-a-half hour plus ordeal would likely have drained out the crowd.
Even for 205 Live, there was generally minimal reaction except for certain spots. There were totally three matches in the new Network show.
