What happened after WWE RAW went off the air (August 12, 2013)

The dark main event on this week’s WWE RAW featured returning superstar The Big Show teaming up with Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan to face The Shield.

The match succeeded CM Punk’s scheduled main event match against Paul Heyman.

The trio were successful in this ‘off-tape’ match defeating The Shield. It is certainly good momentum for Daniel Bryan going into SummerSlam. He faces John Cena for the WWE title and the pair put up an impressive promo this week on RAW.

Speaking of the other members of Bryan’s team, Big Show and Mark Henry are largely anticipated to face The Shield at SummerSlam even though no official word is out yet. The Shield issued an open challenge earlier on RAW to any team ready to face them for the titles at SummerSlam.
