What if Roman Reigns gets added to the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 35
Roman Reigns is back in the WWE Universe. He announced that his cancer was in remission and promptly got back into the action including getting physical during his comeback episode.
Then, in Philadelphia, he staged a Shield reunion and set the table for his participation in a six-man tag match at Fastlane.

In establishing his intentions to get the band back together, WWE briefly teased that Reigns could be added to the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania, in Seth Rollins citing that he’d never lost his title and deserved an opportunity to regain it.
Reigns quickly rebuffed him, but there’s no telling for sure if WWE was having him play the modest nice guy to further court fans, while actually intending to work him into the match.
After all, if WWE were to pull the trigger on another Reigns world title victory at WrestleMania, could there be a better time in terms of fan response to him?
This article takes a look at what might happen if Reigns does get added to the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania.
#4 The Dean Ambrose factor
Particularly given that WWE has reunited The Shield, it’s hard to imagine a WrestleMania world title match that involves Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and no Dean Ambrose.
That’s not to say that Ambrose, too, would be added to the match. Given the way he has been booked recently, and particularly if he really is making his way out of the company in the next month or so, it’s hard to see him factoring in as a challenger.
However, that doesn’t me can’t be involved in a storyline. Do we get guest referee Ambrose, whom no one knows if they can trust? Or might Ambrose fall victim to a particularly heinous attack by Brock Lesnar to build heat going into ‘Mania?
One way or another, the Lunatic Fringe would almost certainly be a consideration if Reigns is added to the Universal Championship match.
