The Undisputed Era has been one of the hottest acts in NXT for over a year now. They debuted at the 2017 TakeOver Brooklyn special over SummerSlam weekend and immediately established themselves as major players by attacking the Tag Team and NXT Champions.

Since that time, they’ve twice been featured in War Games, and largely dominated the tag title scene, besides Adam Cole being crowned the original NXT North American Champion.

The question remains, however, when, whether, and how the Undisputed Era might translate to the main roster.

We’ve already seen glimmers of what might be to come in Cole making a surprise appearance in the 2018 men’s Royal Rumble, besides which Roderick Strong took part in the tournament for the vacant Cruiserweight Championship before joining the faction.

This article take a look at what it would mean for the whole group to not only move up but thrive on the main roster.

While it is not a universal rule, it remains the default that WWE treats Raw as the more mainstream of its two brands invested in featuring the biggest bodies and most famous stars, whereas SmackDown is generally regarded as more suited toward hardcore fans interested in work rate and technical expertise.

One need look no further than the brand’s respective top champions, Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan, to see that dynamic at work.

The Undisputed Era is full of sensational talents, but they’re all smaller guys by WWE standards who work technical styles that are influenced by having traveled the world before coming to WWE.

It’s the kind of act that would feel much more at home on the blue brand, and a particularly if the faction were to dominate, it would be most logical for them to do so on the brand WWE treats as a little lower profile.

Moreover, on SmackDown they could work opponents like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe who could complement them in the ring.
