What strings did WWE pull to get Jacob Fatu into Canada despite criminal record? Exploring how they got him in

Jacob Fatu was undoubtedly one of the MVPs at Money in the Bank. His wild and unhinged personality helped The Bloodline emerge victorious over Cody Rhodes and company. However, The Samoan Werewolf nearly didn't make the trip across the border thanks to his criminal record. Fortunately, WWE was able to get him into the Land of Maple Syrup, but what strings did they have to pull?

Well, in order to answer that question, we must first understand why Jacob Fatu was being barred from entry. While he is a consummate professional now, Fatu didn't exactly have a squeaky-clean past. As a teenager, he was arrested for armed robbery and served an unspecified amount of time in jail. With such a permanent stain on his record, it would be difficult for him to leave the country.

Fortunately for Jacob Fatu, he now works for WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), the company hired a top immigration law firm to get The Bloodline's newest member to Canada. It is a good thing too, because, as mentioned earlier, his performance was nothing short of incredible.

Usually, the Stamford-based promotion isn't one to show leniency when it comes to superstars who have committed felonies. But there are times when they make exceptions, like in the case of Fatu. That said, it will be interesting to see if they will have to pull some strings again, as more shows are coming up outside the United States.

WWE might be interested in bringing in one more Bloodline member, following Jacob Fatu

There is no denying that Jacob Fatu's WWE debut was iconic. In one fell swoop, he proved exactly why he skipped NXT and made a direct main roster debut. He took out the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens all on his own and established himself as an unhinged monster. But, while The Bloodline is dangerous as it is, WWE is still looking to add more power to the faction.

According to several reports, the next Bloodline member could be Hikuleo. The real-life brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, Hikuleo is currently a free agent but is best known for his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp claims that the signing is yet to be completed, but the company has had an interest in him for a long time.

It will be interesting to see what Hikuleo will bring to the already incredible dynamic within The Bloodline. But this is just speculation, so we will have to wait for him to sign on the dotted line with WWE before jumping to any conclusions.
