What WWE has planned for Batista; Changes expected in WrestleMania XXX main-event

Batista

- Batista: Latest reports coming out of the WWE suggest that Batista was supposed to turn heel on last Monday’s RAW from Green Bay but the creative team had deferred it till the SmackDown tapings, while also toning it down.

The original plan, as had been reported was that Randy Orton, the current WWE Champion was to come on-stage and talk about how the fans boo Batista; as they like Orton more than they like Batista. This coupled with a loss at the hands of Alberto Del Rio was planned as the breaking point for Batista.

After this, Batista was planned to go “ape shit” on the fans and turn heel, with the storyline that it was Orton who finally “unleased The Animal”.

But, the WWE creative team later decided to tone down the segment for RAW. And the idea included that a few segments and matches having Batista would feature over the next few weeks at SmackDown, as part of the build-up to turn heel, even before Batista actually turned on SmackDown, and now the creative team has decided to go ahead with it.

- Heel: The SmackDown Backstage Pass post-show had Renee Young talking to Batista, after the promo of the Animal’s heel turn. Batista was heard saying: he says what he feels and means what he says; and doesn’t care who he hurts.

- WrestleMania: Latest buzz in the WWE is that the creative team are seriously considering adding a third person to the WrestleMania match between Batista vs. Orton for the WWE World Heavywight Title.

The back-stage feelings of a line-up is “Batista vs. Orton vs. ?”
