What does WWE star Rhea Ripley look like without makeup?
Rhea Ripley inarguably stands as one of the most successful female superstars in WWE history. Apart from her impeccable wrestling skills, what stands out about her character is the makeup she wears.
If you take a look at her when she's not wearing makeup or when she is not in character, you may be pleasantly surprised. You can view a picture of The Eradicator without makeup below.
Without her signature makeup, Rhea Ripley automatically comes out of her dominant character. The Nightmare's blackened lips and eyes, along with her piercings, have been a massive part of her on-screen gimmick for the past several years.
But why does Rhea Ripley wear unique makeup? Speaking about her physical transformation, Ripley once revealed that it was former WWE Superstar Ruby Riott who initially gave her the courage to take risks with her presentation.
"I don't actually give her enough credit—[former WWE Superstar] Ruby Riott—she was the first one that I really looked at and was like, 'Wow, she's covered in tattoos. She's got short hair, she looks super cool.' I remember tagging with her quite a few times on the non-televised shows and she helped me just bring out that side of me that was me," Ripley said while speaking on the BWGS podcast before WrestleMania 40.
Although she is now a face in WWE, her makeup choices contributed a lot to her villainous character as part of The Judgment Day.
Rhea Ripley turned face after nearly two and a half years when she returned to RAW on July 18, 2024, to confront Liv Morgan for causing her a severe injury. The Eradicator got a big jolt at SummerSlam 2024 when Dominik Mysterio betrayed her and sided with Morgan.
Since the loss, the former WWE Women's World Champion is after Morgan and 'Dirty' Dom to take revenge and regain the title.
Rhea Ripley may battle Liv Morgan in a tag team match at Survivor Series
Ripley is now seemingly eyeing Survivor Series: WarGames for her revenge against Morgan and company. She lost a high-stakes encounter against The Miracle Kid at SummerSlam due to Dominik. The Eradicator lost her second chance to capture the gold at Bad Blood when Raquel Rodriguez returned and attacked her, causing the match to end via disqualification.
You can watch a sequence from the Bad Blood match below.
It was reported that Rhea Ripley might square off against Raquel Rodriguez at Crown Jewel on November 2, as Morgan is already facing Nia Jax at the mega event. However, the bigger problem in front of Ripley is the trio of Rodriguez, Morgan, and Dominik.
While Ripley has Damian Priest on her side to take on Dominik, she will need another partner from the roster to take on Rodriguez. We might see the return of former WWE Superstar Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair, who has been out of action due to injury. The chances of Flair returning are significant.
Flair's comeback might lead to a three-on-three mixed tag team match at Survivor Series. Meanwhile, the chances of Ripley having a title shot at Morgan are bleak since she has already faced the latter twice. Hence, a tag team match looks more probable. It will be interesting to see how Ripley devises a strategy to take on the trio on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
