When will Bronson Reed return to WWE following his injury? Potential timeline disclosed
Former NXT North American Champion "Big" Bronson Reed has won the hearts of fans for his exceptional character and in-ring work in recent months. However, amid a spectacular push, The Aus-zilla is set to be out of action for an indefinite period. Reed joined forces with Solo Sikoa's Bloodline for the Men's WarGames Match against Team Roman Reigns last weekend.
During the match, the Australian beast performed a Tsunami off the top of the cage in a bid to put the OTC through a table. However, Punk came to Roman's aid, leading to Bronson crashing through the table. In the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the Stamford-based promotion officially revealed the nature of Bronson Reed's injury. The RAW Superstar has broken his foot and is set to undergo surgery. He will be out indefinitely.
Currently, there is no fixed timeline for the return of The King of Monsters. However, a broken foot typically requires four to six weeks to recover, and in some severe cases, it may even take 10 to 12 weeks. Hence, it's unlikely that we will see Bronson on WWE TV until March.
That said, this is speculative at this point.
Bronson Reed recently expressed his desire to become WWE World Champion
The Triple H-led creative team has given a massive push to Bronson Reed in recent months. The King of Monsters has been involved in heated rivalries with some big names in the industry, such as Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins. The Australian recently competed in the Men’s WarGames Match in which he was part of Solo Sikoa’s team.
Meanwhile, in a recent interaction with WWE's LA Previa, the 36-year-old talked about his ultimate goal in the Stamford-based promotion: becoming a world champion.
"I think the ultimate goal was to get to the very top. So, WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship. One day," Reed said. [From 02:30 onwards]
It remains to be seen how long Bronson Reed will take to recover from his foot injury.
