Who is Ethan Page? Meet Trick Williams' attacker on WWE NXT

Former AEW star Ethan Page made a shocking appearance on the latest episode of WWE NXT, where he made a statement after attacking reigning NXT Champion, Trick Williams. It was the debut appearance for Page in the Stamford-based promotion.

Ethan Page made his AEW debut in 2021, but had an unimpressive stint there, as the Jacksonville-based company moved him to Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2023. Page stayed there until leaving the Tony Khan-led promotion a few weeks ago. With that in mind, let's take a look at who Ethan Page is.

Julian Micevski was born on September 20, 1989. He is from Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada. Page is married and has two kids. He entered the wrestling industry in November 2006, training under Rip Impact and Ernie Moore. Still, it was Michael Elgin who became his mentor and helped him get to the independent circuit, where he performed from 2013 to 2021.

Apart from AEW and WWE, the Canadian star has worked for TNA Wrestling for four years, between 2017 and 2021, making a name for himself in the promotion.

Back in 2021, he was a free agent and both WWE and AEW were interested in signing him. Page chose to sign with the Jacksonville-based promotion, but he did not achieve much success there. Now, he has signed with the Stamford-based promotion and is ready to take over NXT. Following his attack on Trick Williams, it is safe to assume that Page will be the first in line to challenge Whoop That Trick for the NXT Championship.

Over his career, Ethan has won multiple championships in various independent wrestling promotions, while he is also a two-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.

What the future has in store for the 34-year-old star remains to be seen.

Ethan Page's WWE NXT debut

During the latest episode of NXT, Trick Williams and Je'Von Evans were victorious in their tag team match against Gallus, but the reigning NXT Champion was then attacked by Ethan Page, who made a strong statement with his debut on the white and gold brand.

A segment on NXT saw a mystery man attacking Noam Dar and Oro Mensah backstage. The Meta-Four's Lash Legend then confronted Trick Williams, who denied getting involved in the attack. Ethan Page then appeared and attacked Whoop That Trick, taking responsibility for what happened with Dar and Mensah.

It was an impressive debut for Page on NXT, just a few days after he departed from AEW. With that being said, fans should wait to see how things will pan out next week when Trick Williams might confront him.
